Where parking is never quite free
Most of Dubai follows one rule: free after 22:00, free on Sundays, free on most holidays. These areas do not.
Paid around the clock
These charge 24 hours, 7 days. Sundays and public holidays included. The RTA leaves them out of every holiday free-parking notice.

The short version
If you park at Al Khail Gate or in a multi-storey, assume you are paying, whatever the day. Everywhere else on this list, you pay on weekdays and park free on Sundays. The signboard at your spot has the final say.
